 > PROGRAMMER

Programmer is a type of profession or job that aims to create a system using a programming language. Someone who has the skills to write program code (syntax) and design systems, can also be called a programmer. The code or program language in question such as Java, Python, Javascript, PHP, etc. The systems that you often use everyday, such as the web, Android applications, operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS) etc. compiled by programmers.

The tasks of the programmer are:

Many people think that the programmer's job is only coding. Is that right? Here are the tasks of programmers that you need to know:

1. Analyzing the Required Program

The programmer's first task is to analyze what the client needs. Is it a website, web app, mobile application, or desktop software? Say, a client wants to create a custom application for the Windows operating system. So, the programmer will design the program using the C# programming language which is commonly used to develop Windows applications.

2. Designing a Flowchart

Next, the programmer must map the system flow of the application that is made according to its purpose. For example, when building an online store website, the programmer can determine the flow from account registration, consumer data storage, checkout process, transactions, to shipping tracking.

3. Writing Code

coding is one of the tasks of the programmer. Furthermore, the programmer will do the coding according to the programming language needed according to the flow that has been made. In this process, the programmer must be able to think logically and structured according to the programming language used. Because, if there is an incorrect use of the code, it will cause a bug or error that makes the program inoperable.

4. Debugging

The programmer's work is not finished, only until coding. After all the code is compiled, the next task of the programmer is to perform debugging, namely removing bugs or errors. The purpose of debugging is so that the system that has been built can run smoothly. Usually, this process can take longer, because the programmer has to test and fix bugs over and over again.

5. Testing the Program

Before being handed over to the client for use or released to the public, the system built by the programmer must be able to be used properly. Therefore, the program must pass the program trial. Usually, a program that is still in the testing phase is called a beta version, where the performance, appearance, and overall flow of the system are in accordance with the design.

Programmer adalah sebuah jenis profesi atau pekerjaan yang bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah sistem menggunakan bahasa pemrograman. Seseorang yang memiliki skill menulis kode program (syntax) dan merancang sistem, bisa juga disebut programmer. Kode atau bahasa program yang dimaksud seperti Java, Python, Javascript, PHP, dll.Sistem yang sering kamu gunakan sehari-hari, seperti web, aplikasi Android, sistem operasi (Windows, Linux, iOS) dll, itu semua dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman yang disusun oleh para programmer.

Adapun Tugas Programmer Yaitu:

Banyak yang beranggapan bahwa pekerjaan programmer hanya melakukan coding. Benarkah demikian? Ini dia tugas programmer yang perlu Anda ketahui:

1. Menganalisis Program yang Dibutuhkan

Tugas programmer yang pertama adalah menganalisis apa yang dibutuhkan oleh klien. Setelah semua kode tersusun, tugas programmer berikutnya adalah melakukan debugging, yaitu menghapus bug atau error.Tujuan dari debugging adalah agar sistem yang telah dibangun dapat berjalan lancar. Biasanya, proses ini bisa berlangsung lebih lama, karena programmer harus melakukan uji coba dan mengatasi bug berulang kali.

5. Menguji Program

Sebelum diserahkan kepada klien untuk digunakan atau dirilis ke publik, sistem yang dibangun programmer haruslah bisa digunakan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, program tersebut harus lolos uji coba program. Biasanya, program yang masih dalam tahap uji coba disebut versi beta, dimana performa, tampilan, hingga keseluruhan alur sistem sudah sesuai dengan rancangan.
